Nicola Parrotta is a spiritual leader and world traveler building a movement around what he calls mystical Christianity: a practice of encountering God beyond the walls of the church, through daily, intentional listening to the Bible.

The Problem

Nicola was running events and gatherings across Latin America, and he wanted a simple way for everyone in the room to listen to the same Bible chapters together. His solution at the time was a WhatsApp group where he shared verses manually.

It worked, but it had a ceiling.

He knew the habit he was trying to build, listening to the Bible every day, Father First, required more than a chat group. He needed something that felt like a movement. Something that could travel with him, onboard new people wherever he went, and give his community a real home.

The Vision

Nicola’s philosophy is simple: listening to the Bible as audiobook, every single day, is one of the most powerful things a person can do for their mental health, their sense of purpose, and their connection with God.

He wanted an app that could carry that vision. One that made it easy to listen, easy to build the habit, and easy to bring others in.

The Solution

We helped Nicola use AI to build the Upper Room app from the ground up.

The app integrates the Bible as an audiobook experience, designed specifically for daily listening. It gives his community a shared space to engage with the same chapters, follow along with his teachings, and build the habit together.

Beyond the app, we helped him build his presence on Instagram so that as he traveled and hosted events, he could grow his audience, promote his gatherings, and bring new people into the community from anywhere in the world.
